In our quest for new and exciting hops we have landed in France, using the intriguing Barbe Rouge (Red Beard): named after a notorious French comic-book pirate.
The hop’s delicate strawberry, herbal and red fruit flavours are a perfect fit for this Red IPA. US hop, El Dorado, is added late in the process for an extra tropical fruit twist. The malt body is comprised of Melanoidin, Double Roasted Crystal and Carared to add the rich complexity of dried red fruits, caramel and toffee.
