"I am a Northern Irish printmaker and illustrator based in Edinburgh. I love exploring the small details of the everyday, mostly through my room scenes and nature themes. I have a lighthearted approach to my work, but narrative and the creation of characters and a sense of place is very important to me.  I offer a variety of linoprints, risograph prints, cards and bandanas in my own shop, as well as with some lovely stockists."

Rosanna used her love for colour combination and experiences on her travels to Cambodia for this can design artwork. 

"I was very lucky to go to Cambodia last year, and I had quite a few sketchbooks with pictures of monkeys and lots of tropical fruit, and I thought it was a good opportunity to use the monkeys that had been lurking around my sketchbook for a while."

Rosanna was invited down to Moonwake for the brew day, where she even got to pour in the hops!

"It’s really interesting going to the brewery. So many metal pipes and vats and machines, all doing mysterious things and seeing how beer is made just from simple ingredients, but through all these different processes."

Our Head Brewer, Scoot, found common ground with Rosanna:

"We discovered there's a lot of similarities between brewing and linocut printmaking. With linocut printmaking, you've been working in layers to create the final product, and in brewing it's very much the same thing. We create layers of flavour, knowing what to include and what to leave out."

In the end, we get a design that captures the the vibrancy of the Mango Lime Sour beer. 

"It's great to collaborate in a way where the beer and the artwork elevate each other!"
