This year, we're elevating the celebration with an unforgettable tasting event that pairs three exceptional Woven whiskies with three of our finest beers, creating a perfect harmony of flavours. As if that wasn’t enough, we have Cafe XO providing a mouthwatering selection of food options inspired by the whiskies and beers, ensuring a truly immersive experience.
You will enjoy a guided tasting led by both Woven and Moonwake, exploring the distinct characteristics of each whisky alongside its perfect beer counterpart, creating an experience that celebrates both tradition and innovation.
This will be the exclusive first pour of our new beer, Eighty Shilling: “Layers of biscuit, toffee and raisin are hopped with NZ hops Wai-Iti and Southern Cross for delicate fig notes with a hint of spice”.
This was conceived as the ideal pairing for Woven Hemispheres: "A blend of two whiskies, worlds apart. A tiny New Zealand maker of Manuka wood-smoked Single Malt meets one of Scotland’s largest distilleries; urban, yet elegant."
To bring this novel Burns supper to life, Cafe XO is providing a selection of four incredible food options, and guests will be able to choose one of these to pair with their tasting experience (pictured left).
