Celebrate Moonwake's third birthday with the Trilogy Pale, a harmonious fusion of three distinct hops from our renowned Modern Hop Series. This beer showcases the depth of flavour and complexity derived from a carefully curated blend, offering a delightful journey of hop profiles with each sip. This beer is in our Artist Series with fantastic Leith artwork created by Clarabunda Illustration.

We're celebrating the best way we know how - with beer! We picked three of our favourite hops showcased by themselves in our Modern Hop Series over the last three years.

In 2021, we had our Nelson IPA brewed with the hop Nelson Sauvin. In 2022, we had Solero Pale, originally brewed in collaboration with our supplier Hopsteiner. And in 2023, we had our Tropical Pale which was brewed with a new hop codenamed HS17701 but now it has the fantastic name, Alora.

The Nelson Sauvin hop gives the beer a nice white wine character with flavours of gooseberry. While you get big punchy tropical, mango and pineapple notes from Solero and the nice easy-drinking softness from Alora, with notes of yuzu and melon on the back of your tongue. We think these hops synergies perfectly together.  

Clare Bevis of Clarabunda Illustration has always had a real interest in the built environment such as buildings, bridges, streets, lighthouses, and churches. She wanted to use those for this exact design.This has been her first time designing a beer can, something entirely new
