CELEBRATE THE LAUNCH OF MILK STOUT ON CASK

Our favourite stout is coming back, but not how you are used to. We have gone and brewed this Milk Stout specifically for being poured on cask.

And we're not releasing it on any random day. We are launching it on the International Stout Day!

What is International Stout Day?

International Stout Day is an annual celebration that pays homage to the dark beer style known as stout, with its roasted malt and coffee-like notes.

How to Celebrate International Stout Day 2025?

You can celebrate by trying out some of the suggestions below:

  • Try Different Stouts: Visit your local brewery or pub and explore a variety of stout styles, including dry stouts, sweet stouts, oatmeal stouts, and barrel-aged stouts.

  • Cook with Stout: Experiment with recipes that incorporate stout as an ingredient, such as chocolate stout cake or stout-braised dishes.

  • Head over to one of the venues below on the 6th and try our Milk Stout!

Stout has roots dating back to the 18th century, originating from the Porter in London. Ireland continued experimenting with the beer style which later launched beers like Guinness and expanded globally.

Today, we have lots of different types of stouts, one being our Milk Stout, where we add lactose to the beer to add a delicate sweetness and sumptuous character. We use a selection of dark malts for layers of roast and dark chocolate. Wakatu and Goldings hops supply hints of floral and vanilla to complete a well-rounded dark beer.

Try it at one of the venues below on Thursday 6th November!
